a completely recovered patient from the central effects of sedatives, anaesthetics and the peripheral effectss of muscle relaxants are the main goal to be achieved by all anaesthetists the intensivists, equallyimportant is that central depressant drug overdose has tobe met with specific and non -specific antidotes for functional organ support. Some studies were done proving that aminophyllineantagonizes the neuromuscular blockade of somenondepolarizing muscle relaxant, also antagonizessedation and respiratory depression induced bybarbiturates, benzodiazepines and opioids/
