Abstract:
The Aim Of This Study Is To Evaluate The Freguency And Characteristics Of Muscle And Synovial Involvement In Rheumatoid Arthritis Patients And To Correlate These Findings With Clinical And Nerve Conduction Studies.Rheumatoid Arthritis Is A Chronic Symmetrical Peripheral Polyarthritis With Subcutaneous Nodules, Erosions Of Joints And Positive Agglutination Tests. It Involves Multiple Joints With A Tendency To Spontaneous Remissions And Subsequent Relapses. Extra Articular Involvement May Contain Skeletal Muscle And/Or Peripheral nerve Entrapments (Albani And Carson,1997).
