Correlation Study Between Immunological Peculiareties Of Cholesteatoma In Egyptian Children And Adults By Quantification Of Epithelial Proliferation Using Mibi

The purpose of this study is to analyze the expression of MIB1 incholesteatoma from children and adults in order to establish theirproliferation behavior.-This study comprised 32 patients suffering from C.S.O.M withcholesteatoma divided into 2 groups: Group I included sixteen patientsunder the age of 15 years. Group II included sixteen patients over theage of 20 years.All patients of the study were subjected to appropriate surgery.The expression of Ki-67 epithelial marker in cholesteatoma matrixand deep meatal skin in both groups were studied.
