Intubation has progressed from being a technique for which there were specific indication to an almost routine part of any general anaesthesia.of course, it is not always possible to succeed in in every attempt at tracheal intubation or to prevent every accident, but most accidents are safely manageable if there has been proper preparation with good knowledge of anatomy and different causes of difficult intubation.
