Abstract:
Systemic lupus erythematosus is a connective tissue disease.connective is not merely an inert supportive framework; it protection of vital orangs and facilitates locomotion. In addition, connective tissue is responsible for scavenging and antibody formation , wherever found, from the extremes of the loose skin below the eye to tense tendon ,it consists of three components: cells, fibers and ground substance. All of them are involved in continuous turnover under control of physiological mechanisms including hormones such as growth hormone, corticosteroids and thyroxine.
