Postnatal Development of Submandibular Gland in Albino Rat

the postnatal development of the submandibular salivary gland of the albino rat was studied.the gland was immature at birth and was formed of many lobules scattered in abundant connective tissue stroma.in between these lobules, multiple interlobular ducts surrounded by blood vessels were observed.
