Development of the human male urethra

the human urethra was examined microscopically, at three parts, the prostatic, the membranous and the penile urethra during the gestational period from 115 days old foetus till fullterm. also, we examined two adult speci mens, 35 years and 45 years, and one old specimen 60 years old.the size and diameter of the urethra increased gradually as the age of the foetus increased.
