Interal Pressure And Ultrasonic Development Renal Cyst

This study was conducted at Hudding andKarolinska Hospitals, Sweden, on 24 patients.Twenty seven renal cysts were punctured fordiagnostic and/or therapeutic purposis under ultra-sonic quidance.Intracystic pressures (I.C.P.) were measuredbefore and after cysts evacuation. All patientssubmi t ted to renal function tests and blood press-ure measurment before and after cyst evacuation.Seventeen patients were treated wi th 5 ml ofBismuth phosphate (BiPO 4) and control examinationwere done 3 to 6 months later for estimation ofrenal cyst sizes.We can summarize our results as follow:1.
