- 133 -SUMMARYIn studying anti-A and anti-B agglutinins in health and diseasetotal number of 310 persons were studied 151 males and 159 females,eir ages varies from below 6 months to 70 years.Typing of RBCs were done using anti-A, anti-A 1 anti-B andti- A + B, serum typing was done using group A 1 B, and 0 redlis.Titration of anti-A and anti-B.: were done using A 1 red cellsd B red cells at 250C and 370C m saline titration by indirect anti-obulin test after 1/10 dilution of the serum was done with andithout 2-ME to inactivate IgM antibodies and differentiate IgG fromM titre.Haemolysin test was done by adding equal volumes of freshrum of the invidual with group 0 to 5% suspension of group A andcells respectively.e following groups were studied:128 apparently healthy persons to study the effect of age and sexon the anti-A and anti-B titres and IgG and IgM titres.
