Abstract:
-124-his study comprised of 41 subjects 20 normal individuals, 8 withwith ANLL, 2 CLL, 2 CGL and one case with fungating cancer breastnormal cells in the peripheral blood and bone marrow suggestingses and simulating acute leukaemia.Cases of leukaenia were classified according to clinical data andological investigations including complete blood picture, plateletnd examination of leishman stained blood smears and bone marrowwhen needed.lorphological scoring for im mature cells was done according to F ABation and its modification by Bennett et ai, (1981) for acuteiia.ytochemical staining for MPO, SBB, PAS, AP and nonspecific esteraseNA as substrate. Morphological study revealed the following types. leukaemia cases:L with incidence of Lt L2 and L3 as 25%, 50% and 25% of the cases.lLL with incidence of M1M2. M4, M5a as 37.5% . 12.5% , 37.5% and% respectively. Cytochemical reactions of the 20 normal casesaled that: MPO and SBB were positive in 100 % of neutrophile.AS score in lymphocytes was 16.SS! 10.36 and was positive incytes and monocytes in all cells. A.P. have positivity in 5\ to 51% oftrophils. AP score in Iymphocytes was of mean and S. D. of 105 !
