Patterns of infection in hematological malignancies

.The Aim Of This Work Is To Determine The Pttems Of Infection Patients With Hematological Malignances, So That The Most Effective Empirical Therapy May Be Used Before Or At The Earliest Stage Of Infection To Achieve The Best Of Management.this Study Was Conducted On 46 Patients With Hematological Malignance All (27), AML (10), HD (9) Who Underwent Cytotoxic Chemotherapy, The Mean Age Of Our Patient Was 8 Years These Patients Developed 85 Infective Episodes, ALL Had The Highest Rate Of Febrile Infective Episodes 57, Followed by AML, 19 And Patients With HD Had The Lowest Rate Of Infective Episodes 9, This Is Due To Absence Of Neutropenia In Lymphoma In Contrast To Leukemia.
