This study was carried out during the period of May 1997 to June 1998 on fifty patients with breast lump aiming to evaluate and choice the most accurate modality in diagnosis of cancer breast by comparing the results of clinical examination mammography and fine needle aspiration cytology with the postoperative paraffin section which used as confirmatory test to diagnosis previously done by different modalities to select the most accurate and suitable modality for Egyptian patients.
