Evaluation of infection control measures in intensive care units

This study to determine the actual incidence of pneumonia mechanically ventilated patients and denermine the causative microorganisms, together with evaluation of the usual standard measures used for infection control in ICUs of zagazig university hospitals and also evaluation of the use of selective digestive tract decontamination in reduction of the incidence of nosocomial pneumonia in mechanically ventilated patients.
