Abstract:
This study included one-hundred adult burned patients. All had burns (10-60%) of the total body surface area. They were divided into two groups:1) Group I (50 patients): Those patients were considered as acontrol group, receiving ordinary parenteral fluids.3) Group II (50 patients): Those patients received enteral feeding in the form of chocolate milk shake in addition to conventional food by mouth.
