THYMECTOMY FOR MYASTHENIA GRAVIS

This work was aiming for assessment of the role of thymectomy in the management of myaesthenia gravis. A review of literature of myasthenia gravis was summarized. This included the Clinical picture, investigations and medical treatment. It also gives notes about the role of the thymus gland in myasthenia gravis with anatomical,histological and embryological discription of the thymus gland and about different methods of thymectomy with their results.
