Abstract:
inguinal hernia is one of the most frequently encountered surgical problems & its surgical treatment continues to undergo technical modifications, the introduction of minimally invasive surgery had added a possible new dimension.In this work, (45) patients with inguinal hernias were randomized into two groups:Group (L) : included (9) patients with (11) inguinal hernias & was treated by laparoscopic transabdominal properitoneal repair.Group (0) : included (36) patients with (37) inguinal hernias & was treated by open repair (Bassini’s methods).
