Abstract:
Idiopathic Osteoarthritis And Ostecoporosis Are Age-Related Developmental Conditions That Affect The Elderly, And As The Population Ages The Magnitude Of These Problems Increases The Commonly Held Opinion Has Been That The Two Conditions Are Rarely Seen Together Clinically, And Although They Are Two Of The Most Important Factors Influencing The Quality Of Life In The Elderly, Little Factual Information Is Available On Their Coexistence. This Has Practial Significance In Term Of The Quality Of Bone Available For Joint Reconstruction In Elderly Patients With Degenertive Hip Disease Abd The Diagnosis Of Musculoskeletal Pain In Patients With Osteoporosis Perhaps More Important Are The Theoretical Implications For The Pathophysiology Of Osteoporosis And Osteoarthritis, For It Has Widely Been Suggested That The Conditions Are Mutually Exclusive.
