Abstract:
A microsurgical approach is increasingly used during ligation of spermaticeins to lessen the incidence of com plications . It allows ligation of smallommunicating vein< 2mm diameters resulting in less recurrence. It also allows identification and preservation of lymphatics and testicularrtery preventing postoperative hydrocele and testicular atrophy. We used a meticulous subinguinal microsurgical dissection of the spermaticnrd when ligating the spermatic veins. We deliver the testis to identify and ligate the external spermatic and~ubanecula r veins. The aim of our work is to study the role of microsurgical varicocelectomy inreducing the postoperative com plication of the conventional varicocelectomy.Namely, recurrence, hydrocele and testicular atrophy.
