Abstract:
the tibia is th most commonly fractured long bone and many alternatives for treatment of fractures of the tibia are available.each method whether it be closed reduction and immobilization,esteosynthesis,medullary nailing or external fixation has its advantages and disadvantages and may be used under certain circumstances.
