Abstract:
C-CHF is a viral tick-borne disease ofhuman and domestic animal. Humans usually acquired infection mainly through direct contact with infected tissues. Bite oftickes and may be transmitted by nosocomial infection.C-CHF is sub-clinical in about 80% of infected human clinically. Characterisd by sudden onset of fever , echymosis Bleeding from OIT .Other orifices, hepatomegaly, splenomegaly and disturbance in liver and ;1... blood elements.C-CHF can be treated with oral Ribaverin as 2 gram loading dose, then 4 gram dialy divided into 4 doses for 4 days DROPping to 2 gram dialy far six days, recently, intravenous ribavirin may be used.Randomly 1022 animal sera collected from skarkia Governorate (cattle (313). Sheep (270) Buffloe 269 Goat 175) immediately after slaughter in abattairs and examined for igG titre using captur – ELISA rom a period from October 2003 to rr•.1Y 2004.No antibodies were detected in sera from cattle from zagazig , Alkoreen , Alkinyiat and no antibodies were detected in sera from Bufflao from Zagazig, Belbis and Alkoreen . No antibodies were detectedin sera from sheeps from Zagazig . Alkinyiat . No antibodies were detected from sera from Goat from Belbis , AIKoreen and AIKinyiat .Antibodies were detected in the sera of 12 of 100 (12%) cattle from Belbis , one of 50 (2%) Buffaloes from Alkinyiat . 14 of 50 (28%) sheep from Belbis , two of 60 (33%) sheep from Alkoreen , one of 80 (1.2%) sheep from Alkinyat and 2 of 50 (4%) Goats from Zagazig.
