Abstract:
The aim of this study is to evaluate the role ofultrasonography in the diagnosis of intraocular and intraorbitalspace occupying lesions (tumors and tumor simulating lesions).The most frequent indication for ultrasonography of the eyeis an opaeity, such as corneal scarring, cataract or haemorrhage,which prevents adequate clinical evaluation of intraocularstructures.Thirty one patients were subjected to B-modeultrasonography examination of the eye and orbit’The work was conductectol study the value of B-modeu s inthe diagnosis of 35 intraocular and intraorbital $ols’
