The activation of the c system has been involved in the pathogenesis of avast number of skin diseases. This work was carried out to study the effect of chlorpromazine, surman , 2-hydroxystilbamidine and compound iib, on ar as an experimental model of c-mediated tissue destruction. Preliminary in vitro studies confirmed that suramin was the most potent inhibitor of the classical pathway activity of the c system , followed by chlorpromazine, 2hydroxystilbamidine and compound iib in that order.
