The liver lies in the right hypochondrum below the diaphragm.it has twop large lobes right and lift and two small lobes cauate and quadrate lobes, through the porta hepatis on the inferior surface the common hepatic duct excites and the portal vien hepatic artery and plexics of nerves enter.the hepatic blood supply cames from the pertal vien which drains the intestine, and the hepatic artery.
