Abstract:
In order to study the role of TF and C 3 in the pathogenesisof male infertility and to correlate the Se factors with other dataobtained from Semen analysis as count an motility, 60 subjectswere selected and classified to three groups.Control groupcomprised 20 apparently normal individuals with normal sp e r m o-gram.Their age ranged from 19-44.Oligospe r m i a group comprised 20 patients with the age range(25-51). Azoospermia group comprised 20 patients with agerange (19-51).Semen samples were obtained by masturbation after 4 days ofabstinence and the following i nv e stigations were done:1- Complete Semen analysis.2- Quantitative determination of TF and C 3 in the seminalplasma by the USe of LC -Partigen immunodiffusion plate s.Statistical analysis was done and came to the following:Seminal plasma TF in the control group was significantlyhigher than the oligospermia and azoospermia groups. There was a positive correlation between seminal plasmaTF and sperm count in both the control and oligospermiagroups.
