Abstract:
suggestion that inhalational anaesthetics and anaesthetic gases may cause hepatic dysfunction have favoured the development of total intravenous anaesthesia. since the introduction of etomidate.it became apparent that it will occupy a near ideal position between the intravenous anaesthetics used as infusates.
