Abstract:
Head injuries continue to be a major problem in 1998, not omly in terms of their frequency but also ,because of the fatalities and handicaps that result in the population they most often affect the analysis of prognostic factors in comas resulting from head hnjury is crucial to the specialized care team involved in their management . in addition to being helpful in making therapeutic decisions ,it provides a basis for objective response to legitimate question asked by families since the introduction of ICPmonitoring ,it was concluded that, continuous ICP monitoring can facilitate evaluation of hntracraanial dynamics and offers a more rationale basis for treament than do conventional measures thisstudy was designed to evaluate ICP monitoring regarding its ability to predict outcome of patients with severe head injury.
