Abstract:
MR angiography is a genenc name that covers manydifferences of approach to vascular imaging by MR technology,Magnetic resonance angiography has been applied to severalmanifestations of cerebrovascular disease.During period of 28 months, the study was carried on 71patients , 20 females and 51 males, their ages ranged between 10and 65 years. We analyzed the intracranial vascular lesions into 4groups.Seventeen aneurysms out of 16 patients were diagnosed asaneurysm, 24 patients were arteriovenousmalformations and arteriovenous fistula, 11 patients diagnosed asdural sinus lesions and 20 patients diagnosed as arterial, stenosis, occlusion and rupture.MRA was sensitive In detecting the pathology of 17aneurysms in all the 16 patients, the size detected ranged from2mm to giant aneurysm 4.5 cm, detecting total thrombus ofaneurysm in 2 aneurysm, partial thrombus in 5 aneurysm and nothrombus was detected in 10 aneurysm.
