Abstract:
Our work aimed to detect the prevalence of RSV among children in sharkia and detect their seasonal distribution and suspected age group. Also, we are aiming to compare between different methods of diagnosis of RSV as immunoflurescent (IF), direct electron microscope (EM)and immuno-electron microscope (IEM) to detect rapid, easy, and suitable method for diagaosis of RSV.This work was done on 100 infants and young children they were 58 males and 42 females their ages ranged from one to more than 2 yearsold. All the studied children were from internaland outpatient clinic of pediatric Department faculty of Medicine, Zagazig University.
