The Aim of this work is to determine:1-The Prevalence of specific in relation te of meningitis in childern.2-The relation of te length ofpredigonistic period of menigitis to the outcomes of the diseases.Meningitis is one of the most dangerous health problem in children in egypt and other developing countries the present study was performed they on one hundred patiebts their ages ranged form 4 months to 12 years they were admited to the hospital (EL_Abbasseia and dumiat fever hospitals) Complete thehistory was obtained form all cases particularly the events preceding the diagnosis thorough clinical examination and laboratory investigations including complete CSF analysis and Complete blood Picture.
