Electrovaporization Of The Prostate, An Evaluation By Uroflowmetry And Transrectal Ul Trasonography

This Study Was Conducted On 33 Patients Admitted To Urology Department, Zagazig University Hospital from May 1, 1996 To The End Of July 1997 Aiming To Evaluate TUEVP As An Alternative Treatment Option For BPH. The Mean Age Of Our Patients Was 63.2 Years. The Presenting Symptoms Were Those Of Prostatism With 6 Patients In Acute Retention. After Complete Urological Evaluation TUEVP Was Done For All Patients.The Mean OPerative Time Was 39.3 Minutes, The Mean Catheterization Time Was 23.4 Hours And The Mean Postoperative Hospital Stay Was 1.8 Days.
