Evaluation of an Educational Program: A Report from the Hemodialysis Unit in Zagazig University Hospitals, Egypt

The knowledge and performance of henzodialysis nursing staff at Zagaxig University Hospitals, Egypt, were evaluated using a quasi-experimental design. Participants received an educational program developed from international standards and national guidelines. The number of nurses who achieved satisfactory knowledge and performance scores increased significantly post-intervention, and were sustained for three months after the intervention. A strong, positive correlation was also found between the participants' knowledge and their performance.
