Effect of Anaesthesia and Surgery on Human Immune Response

although recent literatures is rich of reports con-cerning the effect of anaesthesia and surgery on theh~an immune response yet given date are characterized byinconsistency and contradiction.The present work aims to study the effect of anaes-thesia and surgery on the human immune response, to assessthe role played by anaesthesia and to compare the effectof general anaesthesia versus regional analgesia.Materials:The study was carried out on 36 adult patients, 21who underwent lower abdominal and lowerone hour mean duration at Zagazigversity Hospital.
