Surgical Treatment Of Congenital Dislocation Of The Hip In Children Above The Age Of 3 Years

The aim of this work is to evaluate the results of open reduction,femoral derotation osteotomy, Salter and Dega pelvic osteotomy formanagement ofCDH in children above the age of 3 years.In our study, 28 children (40 hips) with previously untreatedCDH had been treated with one-stage open reduction, femoralderotation osteotomy and femoral shortening with or without Salterinnominate osteotomy or Dega transiliac osteotomy, The surgeryon the femoral component of the hip in children with average age39,6 months gives a stable concentric reduction with the head inneutral position of abduction and abduction.
