Abstract:
We aimed to study the relation of heart rate recovery afterExercise to the extent of coronary artery disease and left ventricularfunction. In our study, we selected (56) patients with significant coronaryartery disease as proved by coronary angiography with positiveexercise stress testing, in cardiology department Zagazig University,,~ during the period from 2001 to 2002.We aimed to study the correlation of heart rate recovery time tocoronary angiography and left ventricular function measured by echoCardiography. For this objective we studied:(56) patients (48 male and 8 Female), The mean age was 51 ± 8 years, and(10) healthy subjects as a control group. Patients divided into three groups.-..Jt/’Group 1 : (18) patients with single - vessel diseaseGroup 11 : (23) patients with two - vessel diseaseGroup III : (15) patients with three - vessel disease
