A study of red cell alloantibodies after multiple transfusion in sharkia

the study was done using different methods to evaluate the problem of alloimmunization to red cell antigen in different groups of polytransfused patients.this work was conduction on 215 patients: 73 were b-thallasemia magor,20were leukemia patients, 94 were patients under repeated hemodialysis,16 were patients with schistosomal hepatosplenomegaly and oesophygeal varices,7were anaemic infants with severe nutritional deficiency and septicemia,5 multiparous women undergoin repeated surgical operation.
