Abstract:
The aim of this work is to evaluate the different ra-dialogical procedures in the diagnosis of bladder carcinoma.The efficacy of the radiological procedures used in the dia-gnosis of bladder carcinoma depends, among other factor, uponits role in the assessment of the precise characters of thevesical tumor and the extent of infilteration into the bladderwall and perivesical tissue as well as lymph node metastases.Also, the radiological technique must be easily performed withthe least complications. Obtaining these useful diagnosticinformation, will undoubtly affect the plan of management andhence will affect the prognosis of this hazardous disease, whichis considered as one of the major problems in Egypt.A description of the anatomy, innervation, blood supp-ly & lymphatics and embryology of the urinary bladder isgiven. A Description of the pathogenesis of bladder carcinomain Egypt and abroad is also given.
