Abstract:
fifty-five workers in MASR HELWAN TEXTILE FACTORY complai- ning from different respiratory diseases , were classified into f two main groups. The first group comprised thirty-one patients from atopic bronchial asthma. The second group is of twenty-four patients suffering from other diffediseases e.go tuberculosis ( 6 cases ) , non- asthma ( 8 cases ) , pulmonary emphysema (6 cases) , bronchiectasis ( J cases) and bronchogenic car- Thirty normal subjects were included in this study as ti group. Patients with atopic bronchial asthma were urther subgrouped according to age ( t hr ee groups ) , pulmo- ry function tests ( two groups ) , duration of disease) , X ray exposure ( two groups ) and the ha- <brt of smoking ( two groups ).
