Abstract:
the results of the pharmacolocicaland clinical studies which were illustrated and tabul-ated were subjected to statistical analysis andwere discussed with refrences to relevent publishedreports on etidocaine HCl and will be summarized.(1) PHARMACOLOGICAL STUOIES:-Acute Toxicity Studies in Mice:The toxic range of intraperitoneal testdoses of etidocaine was between 3.75-7.5 mgms/100 gmsbody weight and had a di~ect dose proportionality as-a dose produce 10% death among mice was 3.75 mgms/100gms body weight increasing up to 100% fatalities riseto 7.5 mgms/100 gms body weight.The L.O 50 for etidocaine HCl was 5.5 mgms/100gms body weigh t •
