Schizophrenia is a vastly heterogenous disorder, which has led to the investigation of multiple etiological factors Sperner- unterweger et al., 1999 several investigators have reported abnormal functioning of the immune system in schizophrenia i.e the presence of antibrain antibodies knight et al., 1990 abnormal serum and alterations of lymphocyte subpoulations muller et al., these studies suggest that immunological altertions might be closely associated with the pathogensis and clinical changes of schizophrenia Sasaki et al.,1994
