Osteoporosis currently has bee given an increasing attention as one of the late effects in survivors of acute lymphoblastic leukemia which usually occur secondary to the leukemic process itself, negative effects of treatment, hormonal and biochemical factors, compromised nutritional status and inadequate physical activity.So this study was carried out to evaluate the problem of bone disease in ALL patients before the start of therapy and after 2 years of therapy.The present study was conducted on 30 ALL patients classified into two groups:Group I: which included 15 newly diagnosed cases of ALL.Group II: which included 15 patients of ALL after 2 years of start of chemotherapy.Group III: control group included 10 age and sex matched healthy children.
