measurements of bone alkaline phosphatase rather than total alkaline phosphatase provides amore specific assessment of the metabolic status of bone in normal and pathological conditions such as renal bone disease. this work aimed to study the changes that occur in the level of bone alkalne phosphatase activity in chronic renal failure patients under different modalities of treatment.
