the present study aimed to assess the cardiac function by measuring systolic time intervals-stis-in stroke patients in whom other factors which can affect -stis-such as diabetes mellitus,hypertension,coronary artery diseases or other cardic diseases were excluded to find out whetherstroke per se affects the cardiac function or not.
