some fungal infections in acute leukmia

infection is a frequent complication of acute leukemia in recent years many reports have stressed the increasing frequency of infection caused by fungal organisms in patient with acute leukemia ,this increased incidence of fungal disease has been related to the use of antileukemics as well as to impaired host defenses and leukopenia.
