Treatment of genital herpes

herps simplex virus is amember of the herpes-virus group, and is among the largest viruses. there are two distinct serotypes of hsv, hsv type-1 and hsv type-2 which differ in their clinical and epidemiologic behavior and can be distinguished on the basis of antigenic, biologic, and biochemical differences. they also differ in their mode of transmission, hsv-1 is transmitted primarily by non venereal routes affecting mainly non genital sites.
