Abstract:
The stroke is one of the most important cardiovascular disease, central nervous system and is the third cause of death in many countries and a major cause of disability in the long term. Has raised a lot of controversy in recent years about the role of uric acid in cases of stroke Chanukah acute, have demonstrated some studies that increased uric acid in cases of stroke will be accompanied with an improvement in the health status of stroke patients and their interpretation of that uric acid is one of the most important antioxidants that you remove the islands loose in the human body is the removal of hydroxyl radicals, hydroxide, nitrate and super oxide by destroying the plasma membrane and mitochondrial membrane, these roots Footloose increase its focus in cases of stroke Chanukah, while other studies have demonstrated that increased uric acid in cases of stroke Chanukah. Index is an ill-health status of stroke patients Cchaúah and their interpretation of it that increased uric acid above the normal rates make it act as a catalyst for oxidation which leads to the deterioration of the health situation in cases of acute stroke Chanukah. This study was conducted in the period from November 2005 to October 2006, the Intensive Care Unit, Department of diseases of the brain and nerves, Faculty of Medicine, Zigzag University, and to assess the role of uric acid in the cases stroke Chanukah the acute and its impact on the severity. This study included 50 patients with cerebral infarction. Recorded in patients positive relationship of statistical significance between uric acid and each of the patient’s age, menopause in female patients, arterial blood pressure, serum cretonne ratio, triglycerides, blood cholesterol and the presence of satisfactory grounding for angina.
