scabies is one of the most common contagious diseases, caused by the itch mite, sarcoptes scabiei.it is suspec- ted when several members of the family have noctunal it- ching. the present study include 200 scabietic patients, chosen at random from the outpatient clinic of dermato- logy and venereoloy department, zagazig university hospital during 6 months period.
