Abstract:
The aim of this work is the assessment of some haernostatic parametersas a high index of suspicion for thromboembolic complications that mayoccur in children with nephrotic syndrome.Nephrotic syndrome is one of the most common renal diseases inchildhood. It is a disease of major concern as it causes significantmorbidity for children, convenience and anxiety for families, andconsiderable consumption of medical resources.Children suffering from nephrotic syndrome are liable to severalcomplications that may occur as a part of the disease itself or aconsequence of therapy which is mainly by steroids or cytotoxic drugs insteroid resistant paitents.
