Abstract:
In this work we are aiming to study the relationship of H. pylori in chronic renal failure patients on regular heamodialysis and those patients who also suffering from chronic renal failure but on conservative treatment suffering from colorectal symptoms. Forty four patients were chosen for the study. They were divided into 3 groups, group I (15 patients suffering from chronic renal failure on regular haemodialysis suffering from colorectal symptoms), group II (15 patients suffering from chronic renal failure on conservative management also suffering from colorectal symptoms), group III (15 patients with no renal impairment and also suffering from colorectal symptoms). Also the patients under went lower colonoscopic examination and biopses were taken for histopathological examination. The patients were examined for helicobacter pylori antibodies (IgG) detection by serological examination. NO H.Pylori have been found in the lower gastrointestinal tact (colonic mucosa). Either in the normal mucosa or the inflamed one. Also in our work, the prevalence of H.pylori IgG antibodies Positivity in the studied groups were higher in group III (control group) than the other two groups of chronic renal failure.KEY WORDS: chronic renal failure, gastrointestinal lesions in uremia. H.pylori infection, Results, Discussion. References and Arabic summary. In this work we are aiming to study the relationship of H. pylori in chronic renal failure patients on regular heamodialysis and those patients who also suffering from chronic renal failure but on conservative treatment suffering from colorectal symptoms.
