surgical treatment of displaced supracondylar fractures in children

sixty children with supracondylar fractures of the humerus were treated surgically by oprn reduction and internal fixation using crossed kirschner wires.the ages of the patients ranged from 2,6 to 12 years.it was common in boys than girls and right side more than left one.the fractures can be diagnosed clinically and radio logically by anteroposterior and lateral x-rays views.
