Comparative Study Between Transrectal and Transabdowinal Ultrasound Estimation of Prostatic Size and Residual Urine

the study was performed on(20)patients from urology department,zagazig uviversity,open prostatectomy was done for the (20) patients pre-operative prostatic size estimation was done by transabdominal and transrectal ultrasound route using atoshiba(ssa-250 a)sector scanner 3.5 mhz for transabdominal method and a bruel and kjaer 1849 4 mhz axial transrectal method.
